Pascal Durchon – 5th dan Aikikai – will return to Brighton on the weekend of the 19th and 20th of May at the Brighton Judo Club in Dorset Gardens.

Session times are:

• Saturday:
  • 11am to 1pm
  • 2:30pm to 4:30pm

• Sunday:
  • 11am to 1pm

The price for one session is £15, or £40 for the whole weekend. No pre-booking is required.

Phil Rozier (4th dan Aikikai) and Rick Smaridge (4th dan Aikikai) – will jointly host a course on Saturday the 28th of January at the Brighton Judo Club in Dorset Gardens.

The course will run from 11am to 4:30pm with a break for lunch. There will be a focus on fundamental aikido principles and how these relate to basic and advanced forms.

The price for the course is £20, no pre-booking required.

Note: Jack has offered to run a class at Dorset Gardens on the 27th at the usual time, for anyone interested in working off the turkey!

Please note that the regular lesson is postponed this Monday in lieu of a kyu grading session. Same time and place as the regular lesson.

Practitioners who are not grading are still welcome (and encouraged!) to attend if they want to offer their ukemi services to those who are.

Please note there will be no official “warm-up”, so arrive early if you want to stretch before your grading.

Remember also that kyu gradings cost £10. For last-minute revision don’t forget to check the syllabus.
