New for those of you with a modern web-browser such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera, you can now see a convenient timeline of our regular training schedule at the top of each page:

I’ve not yet got it to work in Internet Explorer 6-8, so it’s hidden from those browsers. You can of course still refer to our existing Venues and training times page, and if you are signed-up to our mailing-list you will continue to receive email reminders about changes to the regular training schedule.

Sevenoaks

Thanks to all who attended Saturday’s course in Sevenoaks!

A morning and afternoon course is scheduled for Saturday 21st August at Sevenoaks School Dojo (directions also available as a PDF). The morning session will run 10am-12pm, the afternoon 2pm-4pm.

The course will be lead by Phil Rozier, 3rd dan Aikikai. If you cannot drive to Sevenoaks please talk to your teachers and fellow students – some have volunteered their chauffeur services!

The price for each session is £5. See you there!

With the exception of July 5th and August 30th, Monday sessions at the University will continue through the Summer.

Unfortunately we need to pay additional fees to keep the Sport Centre open during the school holiday. We kindly ask that club-members wishing to attend Monday classes during Summer please pay £50 to cover the extra cost. But the training will be worth it!

There will be a Grading Session at Chris Kent’s Kicks dojo on Wednesday the 9th of June at 20:45 through to 22:00 — the class normally reserved for Weapons training. If you would like to grade please let your teachers know!

As many of you noticed, the website was down over the weekend. Please accept our sincere apologies for this — we know a lot of students were trying to access the syllabus for their upcoming gradings!

You may experience some glitches over the next 24 hours, but after tomorrow everything should be back to normal.

This course will be at Dorset Gardens:
Saturday 1100-1300 and 1500-1700
Sunday 1100-1300

Please be on the mat well before the start time.

From May 4th, the Tuesday class will return to its old start time of 2000 – that way we can avoid the parking wardens! See you tomorrow.

Will be held at Al Duomo in Pavilion Buildings (off North St.) Meet in the bar at 1930 for 2000. See you all there>

There will be no classes this Friday the 2nd or Monday the 5th of April due to dojos being closed for Easter.
